Bishop, Howard, Terry Earn All-State

LITTLE ROCK - Jase Bishop and Austin Howard of the Woodlawn Bears, and Jud Terry of the Rison Wildcats were named to the Class 2A All-State Baseball Team released last week by the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA). All three players are seniors. Bishop played centerfield for the Bears and was also a pitcher. Howard was a pitcher and also served as Woodlawn's designated hitter as the Bears completed their season by winning the Class 2A state championship. Terry was a pitcher and infielder for the Wildcats, who earned a berth in the Class 2A State Tournament after finishing second in the South Region Tournament. Greenland, Horatio and Mansfield all had three players selected to the All-State team. Woodlawn, the Class 2A state champions, had two players on the team along with Carlisle and Cedar Ridge. ...
