Paul Eugene Zarr, 84, of Rowell, AR passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, October 9, 2023. He was born July 11, 1939 in Diagonal, IA to the late Carl Zarr and Lillian Beal. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, was a retired foreman for Century Tube, retiring after 49 years, he loved to bowl and had been on many bowling leagues, he loved to fish and hunt, and loved to cut firewood. Paul was a believer in Christ and is now rejoicing in heaven with all of those who have gone before him.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Wanda; his parents Carl & Nellie Zarr and Lillian Cooke; his in-laws Kermit Martin and Olevia Polotto, 2 sisters Barbara and Christine and a brother, Fred.
He is survived by his 3 daughters and their families; Paula Spencer (Ron) of Olathe, KS, Patricia Bombino of Rowell, AR and Dana Sanford (Trey) of Granbury, TX; 5 grandchildren Stephanie (Matt) Hall, Amanda Casteel, Justin Bombino, Kaitlyn Flager (Damien) and Alexis Nobles (Zachary); 5 great grandchildren, and many beloved extended family members and friends.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Graveside services are 10 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Rowell Cemetery with Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Pallbearers are Justin Bombino, Randy Lampkin, Dennie Sutherland, Matthew Hall, Damien Flager, Zachary Nobles, and Matthew Besozzi.
