Jr. Rams Edge Jr. Bears on Late TD

WOODLAWN - Woodlawn rallied from an early two-score deficit to tie the game midway through the fourth quarter but the Dermott Junior Rams used their speed advantage to dial up a long touchdown run late to come away with a 40-32 win over the Junior Bears in South Conference action last Friday afternoon at the Carl Jones Sports Complex. The two-point attempt was stopped short leaving Dermott with a 2014 lead. The Junior Rams quickly made it a two-score game again when they returned the ensuing kickoff 55 yards for another score. After another unsuccessful conversion attempt, Dermott was leading 26-14. White returned the ensuing kickoff 25 yards to the Dermott 35.
