RISON - After suffering two losses to start their 2023-24 campaign, the Rison Lady Wildcats have reeled off back-toback victories to even their season record at 2-2.
The Lady Cats blew by the Magnet Cove Lady Panthers, 52-39, last Tuesday, Nov. 14, at Magnet Cove before coming to get past the Des Arc Lady Eagles, 56-48, for new Coach Cicely Greene-Simpson. Details for both games were not available at press time. Rison improved to 2-2 with the pair of wins.
On a scheduling note, the Lady Wildcats' home opener scheduled against Jacksonville Lighthouse on Monday, Nov. 27, has been cancelled according to an updated schedule for Rison on scorebooklive.com. The Lady Wildcats will return to action next Thursday, Nov. 30, to take on Mount Saint Mary Academy in Little Rock.
