GURDON - Landon Pratt scored 22 points and Mark Adams had 10 as the Woodlawn Junior Bears picked up their second league win of the year with a 47-32 win over the Gurdon Junior Go Devils in an 8-2A conference game last Tuesday at Gurdon.
Woodlawn built a 16-5 lead by the end of the first quarter before taking a 23-16 lead into the half. The Junior Bears went up by double-digits by the start of the fourth quarter with a 15-7 third quarter.
Parkers Chapel 28, Woodlawn 22
WOODLAWN - Parkers Chapel used a strong second quarter to erase a first quarter deficit at the Junior Trojans handed the Woodlawn Junior Bears a 28-22 loss Friday night at Woodlawn.
The Junior Bears took a 7-4 lead into the second quarter only to see PC go on a 15-4 run to go up 19-11 at halftime. The two teams played nearly even the second half.
Landon Pratt scored 12 points for Woodlawn followed by Cash Hargis with 10.
The Junior Bears fell to 2-6 with the 8-2A league loss.
