Steven Owen Parker, 48, of Rison, passed away on April 8, 2024, the day of the eclipse, something he would have found special with his love of space.
He was born on August 18, 1975, Berlin, Germany to the late Clarence and Alice (Owen) Parker, Jr.
He was a graduate of Rison High School, and University of Arkansas at Monticello. He worked in the I.T. Field.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Alice Parker.
He is survived by his children Morgan Parker (Jake Gardner), Megan Parker, their mother Brandi Parker. His siblings, Clarence E. Parker III and wife Jana, Christy Parker Runion and her husband Marvin, Matthew Parker, numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
There is one thing for sure Steven loved his girls, they were his heart.
He was always down for a selfie. Steven loved to talk to his girls or family on anything, which most of the time ended up on sports, movie quotes, or Pearl Jam. He was their number one fan.
Steven loved watching the Arkansas Razorbacks. He would always call them HOGS.
A memorial will be private at a later day.
