Arthur Zehe McClain, 61, was born March 21, 1965 to Agnes Ashcraft McClain and Arthur Brooks McClain in Pine Bluff, AR.
He departed this life at his home July 20, 2026. He was an avid hunter and fisherman his whole life. He was employed by C&L Electric Co-Op. He worked on the right of way crew, he was right of way foreman, and most recently held the position of right of way supervisor.
He is preceded in death by his father, Brooks McClain.
Survivors include his mother, Agnes McClain, one son, Tracy Furn McClain (Rebekha), two daughters, Carly McClain (John Roper), Chloe Dale (Brian), his wife of 23 years, Denise McClain, one sister, Debbie Lester (Roy) and seven grandchildren; Laythan Cash, Logan McClain, Lacey McClain, Mary McClain, Khloe McGehee, Brady Dale and Sadie Dale. Zehe is also survived by a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Services will follow at 11 a.m. in Griffin Funeral Service Chapel, with Bro. Toby Austin officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Rye, AR.
Pallbearers will be Scott Daugherty, Tracy McClain, Wade McClain, Todd Dutton, Darian McGee, and Steven Greenwood. Honorary pallbearers are current and retired employees of C&L Electric Co-Op.
