Ceilia "Chee Chee" Brown McGehee, 79, of Woodlawn went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 4, 2026. She was born July 27, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Ira and Minnie Searcy Brown.

Ceilia was raised in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School in 1964. She married Victor McGehee August 29, 1964 and they moved to Woodlawn in 1972. Ceilia loved her grandchildren. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Woodlawn and enjoyed singing in the choir. Ceilia had been a cheerleading coach when she was younger and she loved camping and feeding the squirrels while camping. She also had cooked for over 50 years at the deer camp. Survivors include her husband, Victor McGehee; children, Scott McGehee (Jill), Carman Conner (Jeff) and Steven McGehee (Angela); brother, Julian Welch; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant son, Shannon Gregory McGehee; and brother, Van Brown.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Woodlawn. Her son, Steven McGehee and her grandsons, Josh Conner and Matt Conner will officiate. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Glendale. Visitation will precede the service from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Josh Conner, Matt Conner, Luke Lane, Bradley McGehee, Dustin McGehee, Danny Tucker, Tracy Welch, Michael Bauerband and Clay Carrington.
