It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Royse, who left us on June 14, 2024 ,at the age of 76. She was a loving wife, mother, devoted grandmother, and treasured friend whose memory will be held dear by all who knew her.
Elizabeth Ann Royse (maiden name Brown) was born on 7/31/47 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of James and Rose Brown.
She married Charles Edward Royse in 2001, and they shared 23 wonderful years of marriage together.
Elizabeth had two daughters, Tammy LaNea Dillion and Brandi Marie Maddox. She raised her grandson, Jonathan Payton Branham Sr., as her own.
Her legacy of love, wisdom, and laughter will live on through her family. There is not a day that goes by that there is not something that Mim-Mee would say, and/or how she would say it isn't played out daily in the lives of those she has left behind.
Elizabeth's legacy will be carried on through her husband Charles; daughter, Tammy; grandchildren Payton, Gunnar, Skylar, Jacob, Nicholous, Dylan, Dalton, Rumer, Glenna, and Raymond; and great-grandchildren Lyric, Harper, JP, Deltah, Schwazy, Hyphy, Beretta, Grizzelda, Flynt, Knox and Dawson. As Mim-Mee would always say, "love your guts." Rest in peace and love, Mim-Mee. You will be deeply missed, but your spirit will live forever in our hearts.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
