Floyd Burton Gavin, 73, of Rye, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Rye, Arkansas.
He was born on January 28, 1953, in Warren, Arkansas to Juanita Foreman Gavin and the late Maurice Gavin. Floyd proudly served his county in the United States Air Force.
Other than his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Randy Gavin.
He is survived by his mother, Juanita Gavin of Rye, AR; son, Daniel Gavin and spouse Secret of Montana; brother, Dennis Gavin of Bradley County, AR; sister, Cathy Gavin Phillips of Rye, AR, two grandchildren, Liam Gavin and Rylan Gavin and a host of extended family members and friends.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Union Cemetery in Rye. Burial in Union Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
