Frances Elizabeth Reeme Brown, 83, formerly of Rison, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 19, 2026. She was born July 29, 1942 in Mist to Benjamin Franklin Reeme and Velma Sumners Reeme.
Frances was raised in the Drew County area and attended Monticello Schools. She retired as a clerk from Super D Pharmacy but also spent time as a homemaker and babysitter. Frances was a member of Whiteville Missionary Baptist Church for many years, loved spending her time studying her Bible and was known as a Godly woman. She loved to spend time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Dana Young (Ronald) of Rison, Tammy Elmore (Lynn) of Witcherville and Lamonica Brown of Siloam Springs; grandchildren, Jason Young (Kara), Tiffany Young, Kandyce McDougald (Jeremy), Brittneigh Morris (Justin), Reba Post (Tyler), Destiney Johnson (Ryan), Kassi Cain (Zack), Morgan Forman (Cody) and Madison Alston (Adam); 27 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Bro. Albert Ray Brown, whom she married September 26, 1958 in Taylor and who went to be with the Lord, March 6, 2010; son, Anthony “Tony” Brown; stepfather, Rye Slaughter; siblings, B. Frank Reeme Jr, Jean Reeme, Jessie Reeme, Clarence Reeme, Berty Carter, Houston Reeme, Travis Gail Reeme and June McKittrick; and sons-in-law, Larry Brown and Arlis Stone.
Visitation will be Thursday, 10 -11 a.m. with the funeral service starting at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son. Bro. Tim Forman will officiate. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be great grandsons: J.B. Post, Jakob Morris, Coen Post, Chandler Shalmy, Brady Post, Jeremiah McDougald, Braxton Redd and Sawyer Post. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons: Jason Young, Ryan Johnson, Adam Alston, Cody Forman, Jeremy McDougald, Tyler Post, Justin Morris and Zack Cain.
