James Martin Cook, 70, of Pine Bluff, passed away on May 26, 2024, after a hard fight with illness.
James was born January 11, 1954 to William and Babe Ruth Cook of Sherrill, AR. James was a passionately hard worker. He worked for Union Pacific in various positions in the car department, until his retirement in 2016.
He also ran a successful construction business, as well as Fin N Feather Lodge, a guided duck hunting lodge, where he entertained hundreds of guests with great hunting, food and lodging.
James is survived by three children, Jamie Reed and her husband Layne Reed of Rison, Jeremy Cook of White Hall, and River Cook of Hot Springs. He also has two grandchildren, Carter And Dillon Reed ages 11 and 7 of Rison.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 2&, 2024 at Buie Funeral Home in Rison. ****
