Paul Edwin King 77, of Star City, passed away July 2, 2024, in Rison. Born October 21, 1946, in Monticello, he was the son of Ralph Cline King, Sr., and Pauline Audean Woodford. His parents, sister Kaydell King and grandson Joshua Waltman, all preceded him in death.
Mr. King was a member of Rankin Chapel Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver for P&W Oil Company. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sue King; son Gary (Kim) King of Star City; two daughters, Carla Williams of Star City, and Paula (Stan) Sadler of Rison; three brothers, Ralph King, Jr., of Star City, Ronnie (Linda) King of Monticello, and Terry King of Lebanon, Oregon; three sisters, Phyllis Cater of Dermott, Gayle (Frank) Cruz of Varner, and Kathy Bradley of Dumas; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas with Rev. Jerry Rawson officiating. Burial followed in Tyro Cemetery.
