Paul LeRoy Stephenson, 60, of Rison passed away on November 22, 2023 from a battle with Mesothelioma. He was born in Orange County, California to Robert Stephenson and Arnette Kleiner Guyer. He moved to Rison in 1997, where he became a local handyman, home remodeler and a general contractor for many years. Paul loved camping, boating, hunting, hanging out on the farms, but most of all he loved being with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Stephenson.
He is survived by his wife Dena Stephenson of 26 years, his mother Arnette Guyer (Terry) of Rison, his sister Susan Segiel of Nampa, Idaho, his brother Kenneth Stephenson and his wife Jody of McAlister, OK, his sons Robert Stephenson and his wife Jennifer of Springdale, Ryan Stephenson and his wife Leslie of Rison, his daughter Lauren Rosnau and her husband Paden of Garden Grove, CA, his son Rick Stephenson and his wife Mary of Sheridan, grandchildren, Faith, Jason, Caroline, Caitlyn, Tessa, Ryder, and Luke and numerous nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice, Skyler Wooldridge, and the family and friends who were there by his side.
Funeral services were Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Buie Funeral Home in Rison.
