Robert M. Gensert, 85, of Fordyce, died February 2, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Gensert and two sisters, Nancie Albright and Margaret "Peg" Gorrell.
He retired from the United States Navy as an Electrician Mate Chief Petty Officer in 1984. He also retired from Westinghouse/Phillips as an electrician.
He is survived by one son, William "Skip" Gensert and two grandchildren, Suzy Harrell and Darren Lunsford.
A graveside memorial service will be held on March 11 at 12 p.m. at Canada Cemetery in Cleveland County.
