Sewilda R. Jacks, 85, of the Randall community near Rison, passed away, February 21, 2023.
She was born on September 6, 1937 in Randall to the late Newt and Ophie Rodgers.
She married Billy Harvey Jacks on February 17,1956 in Randall.
Sewilda was a devoted member of Center Missionary Baptist Church and active in Senior Ladies Auxiliary. She retired from Simmons Bank in 1997.
Sewilda loved her family and friends fiercely and knew how to make everyone feel special. She is a beautiful example of the best wife, mom, Mamaw, grandma and nana, and her memory will carry on with all of us.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Billy Charles Rodgers; sister, Eloise Rodgers Tooke and daughter-inlaw, Clara Jacks.
Sewilda is survived by her husband; Billy Jacks; sons, Keith and Julie Jacks, Scott Jacks, Steve and Teresa Jacks, Randy and Dawn Jacks; brother, Derrell and Dorothy Rodgers; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, February 27, 2023 at Center Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Doney Blackerby and Brother Dennis Blackerby officating. Burial followed in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
