Syble Joan Kitchens, 76, of Rison, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 30, 1947, in Hampton, AR to the late Grady and Eva Evans Inzer. Syble enjoyed watching Halmark movies, Wheel of Fortune, eating Popeyes Chicken, and shopping. She was a faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, where she played the piano and sang in the choir. Syble was truly devoted to her family, church, and her friends, and would spend every moment possible with them. She loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and would spoil them any chance she could. She will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Syble was preceded in death by her loving husband, Giles E. Kitchens.
Syble is survived by her children, Alicia Wilkie (Richard), and Mark Kitchens, grandchildren, Jordan Pratt (Noah), Brayden Kitchens, Julia Evans (Landon), and Brittany Garcia (Omar), great grandchildren, Zoey, Landry, Isacc, Lyla, and Priscilla "Sweet Pea", siblings, Sherry Laminack (James), David Inzer (Carolyn), and Gary Inzer (Paula), and by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services were Monday, June 10, 2024 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Rison.
Interment followed in Cypress Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
