Janis Dumas

Beloved mother and grandmother Janis Reid Dumas passed peacefully on Sunday morning, June 4, 2023, at age 85. Janis was born at home on November 3, 1937, in Rison to Eunice McGehee Reid and Bowie G. Reid and her older sister Barbara.

Becky Howard, 59, of New Edinburg, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 10, 1964, in Nashville, TN, to Anita Stuard Williams and the late Bobby Ray Williams. She was a member of Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church.

Danny Works

Danny Bert Works, 74, of Cabot, AR, formerly of White Hall, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 2, 2023. Born July 12, 1948 at Grass Valley, CA, he was the son of the late Bertis G. Works and Estelle Kimbrell Works. Danny and his family moved to the Pine Bluff area when he was an infant.

Keith Marshall

Keith Bryan Marshall, 64, of Pine Bluff, died Monday, May 29, 2023. He was born July 6, 1958 in New Bedford, MA, to the late Francis Marshall and Christina Moniz Marshall. Keith was the maintenance supervisor at Sungro.

Raymond Shirey

Raymond Shirey, 73, of Star City, passed away June 1, 2023 in Little Rock. He was born December 4, 1949 in Monticello, AR to the late Hollis and Maxine Myhand Shirey. Raymond was a retired maintenance mechanic for the Pine Bluff Paper Mill.

James Hendricks

James Hendricks, 75, of Atkins died Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at his home.  He was born December 4, 1947, to James Travis and Carolyn “Carrie” Eleanor Goodwin Hendricks in El Dorado but considered White Hall his home.

Richard Boykin

Richard Lamar Boykin, 76, of Pine Bluff, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family.   He was born December 1, 1946 in Bastrop, Louisiana, to the late John Boykin and Frances Lillian Martin.  Richard loved being outdoors, and enjoyed working in the yard, hunting and fishing.

James Erwin, Sr.

James A. Erwin, Sr. 73, of Rison went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was born June 27, 1949 in Rison to the late Johnny Erwin and Loise McGriff Erwin. Mr. Erwin was a retired farmer. He was a member of Rison Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

Mary Jones

Mary Featherston Jones, 81, of Woodlawn passed away, Friday, May 19, 2023 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Mary was born October 5, 1941 in Oak Grove, LA to the late C.H. Johnson and Mattie Lee Moore Johnson. Mrs. Jones worked in various nursing facilities across Arkansas as a nurse.

Sandra Lynn Pulley, 49 of Kingsland left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father May 16, 2023. She was born in Warren, AR on October 16, 1973 to John and Jackie Huddleston. Sandra grew up in New Edinburg, AR.
