George Edward Young, 78, of New Edinburg died Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born August 31, 1944 in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was a retired boiler operator and an Army veteran.

Belva Joy Reed White, 88, of Woodlawn, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was born June 14, 1934 in Woodlawn, she was the daughter of the late Marvin G. Reed and Lettie Baker of Woodlawn. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. "Jim" White.

Stefanie Draper Clayton

Stefanie Metz Draper Clayton, 78, of Pine Bluff, went peacefully in her home on December 17, 2022, to be with the Lord. She was born on November 29, 1944, in Senden, Germany to Stefan Metz and Ottilie Hauf Metz.

Marc Foote

Marc Wesley Foote, 23, of Bee Branch, AR, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was born August 19, 1999, at JRMC in Pine Bluff AR. Marc attended Rison School district for 10 years and graduated from Clinton High School in 2018.

Bonnie Evans

Bonnie Cranford Evans, 63, of Kingsland, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 8, 2022. She was bom January 18, 1959 in Warren, Arkansas to Marvin and Annie Cranford. She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Cranford, sister, Tracie Cranford Johnson, and grandchildren, Hayliegh and Alaina.

Patience Johnson

Sister Patience Lenora Johnson, 45, departed this life on December 2, 2022 at her home in Kingsland, Arkansas. She was bom July 7,1977 in Fordyce, Arkansas to the late Jerry King and Rose Mary Johnson.

Judy Stone

Judy Mae Stone (Granny) was unexpectedly taken at the young age of 75 on December 8, 2022. Judy was well known for her compassion, intelligence, love of reading, love for her family, having a great conversation and teaching anyone who was willing to leam how to crochet.

Kathy Moyers

Kathy Jacks Moyers, 77, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2022. Bom at Rison on Febmary 20, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Isaac Jacks and Ora Bet Greenlee Jacks. She grew up in the Woodlawn community and was a Baptist.

Bob Powell

Robert Don Powell, 89, affectionately known as “Bob” passed away on December 8, 2022 at the Veterans Hospital Hospice Unit in Little Rock, AR. He was bom on April 22, 1933 in Conway, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Virgie Powell, brother Bill, and sister Pat.

Alvin Jones, Jr.

Alvin James “Bugger” Jones Jr. passed away December 1, 2022 at Baptist Hospital after a long battle of health conditions and kidney disease.  He was born May 30, 1957 to Alvin Jones Sr. and Roberta Peerson, of Pine Bluff. Bugger was a truck driver most of his career driving log and rock trucks.
