Gerald Dean Burton, 98, of Warren, died January 26, 2026 at Dalton’s Place in Star City.  He was born July 5, 1927, in Belfast, AR to Venice and Earl Burton.  He was a retired banker and member of the Warren First Baptist Church for sixty years where he served as Deacon.

Charles Henry Simerley of Calmar, 78, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2026. He was born May 27, 1947 in Jacksonville Arkansas. He was proceeded in death by his parents John and Hazel Simerley. Also his beloved son Joseph (Joey) Simerley and his daughter Tonya Marie Penn.
