Barbara Romine

Barbara Kaye Thompson Romine, 83, of Rison went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 22, 2025, at the Greenhouse Cottages of Southern Hills of Rison. She was born March 22, 1942, to Ed and Effie Thompson in Mena, Arkansas. They moved to Hope where she graduated from Hope High School in 1960.

John Turner

John W. Turner, 84, of Fordyce passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Dallas County Hospital in Fordyce, Arkansas.He was born March 20, 1941 in Rison, Arkansas.  He was a retired maintenance worker for Georgia-Pacific and a member of Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church.

Owen Rushing

Owen Thomas Rushing, 84, of Calmer, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, at JRMC, having gone to be with his Lord and Savior.Owen was born in Cleveland County on July 9, 1941, to William Thomas “Tom” Rushing and Lillian Elizabeth Owen Rushing.

Zelpha Jean Stewart, 86, of Star City passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at her home. She was born March 11, 1939 to late the Veo and Eunice Armstronge Rauls. Zelpha was a member of the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Palmyra where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
