North Little Rock - The Arkansas High School Coaches Association (AHSCA) executive committee informed the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) board of directors this week that the annual All-Star games will be discontinued.That decision comes after declining participation from both athletes and coaches in recent years, according to a statement from the AAA.In place of the All-Star game contests, the AHSCA will name All-Star rosters for each sport and recognize those athletes and coaches for their accomplishments.The All-Star games were usually held during June featuring the top seniors from all classifications in most major sports.
