HOT SPRINGS - Fountain Lake found its 3-point range early and often as the Class 4A Lady Cobras hit nine treys to blow past the Woodlawn Lady Bears, 61-29, in a non-conference match-up Monday night at Fountain Lake.The outside barrage started in the opening quarter as Baylee Hedges hit two and Allie Overton added another to put Fountain Lake on top 20-11 to start the second quarter. The Lady Cobras hit two more in the second as they extended their lead to 33-15 by halftime.Another 3 by Hedges and two more from Overton sparked a 21-point third quarter by Fountain Lake as it extended its lead to 54-24 by the start of the final period.The Lady Bears’ offense, meanwhile, struggled to get going. Addison Holland and Erin Vinson both had six points to lead Woodlawn followed by Preslee Mack and Jaci Hoyt with five apiece.Woodlawn fell to 4-6 overall with the loss.Magnet Cove 57, Woodlawn 43WOODLAWN - After a productive first half by Woodlawn, the Lady Bears saw their offense fade away over the final two frames as the Magnet Cove Lady Panthers got the upper hand in the second half for a 57-43 win in 8-2A conference action at the Woodlawn Gym last Friday night.Magnet Cove got off to a good start, leading 20-11 at the end of the first quarter. But Woodlawn answered with a 21-point effort in the second to take a 22-21 lead into halftime.But the Lady Bears struggled top get anything going in the third as the Lady Panthers ended the third with a 38-31 lead. Woodlawn managed just two points in the fourth as Magnet Cove posted the 14-point victory.Jaci Hoyt led the Lady Bears with 12 points followed by Preslee Mack with 11....
