WOODLAWN - The Woodlawn Lady Bears dropped both of their 8-2A conference games last week, falling to the Gurdon Lady Devils, 56-40, in a road last Tuesday on the road and then suffering a 45-33 setback to the league-leading Parkers Chapel Lady Trojans last Friday at the Woodlawn Gym.
The Lady Bears returned to conference action this Friday when they host the county rival Rison Lady Wildcats at the Woodlawn gym. Woodlawn is 2-3 in league play and 9-10 overall.
