RISON - The Rison Lady Wildcats fell to the DeWitt Lady Dragons, 49-37, Monday night in the first round of the 8-3A District Tournament at DeWitt, bringing a close to their season.Rison entered the district tournament as the no. 5 seed while DeWitt was the no. 4 seed. The Lady ‘Cats had to win Monday night to earn a regional playoff berth to extend their season.The Lady Wildcats also lost their regular season to league-leading McGehee Lady Owls, 73-40, last Thursday.
