WOODLAWN - The Woodlawn High School football program will be hosting a “Meet the Bears” event starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at the Carl Jones Sports Complex football field.
All players and cheerleaders on the kindergarten through second grade flag football teams, the second through sixth grade Pee Wee football teams, the Woodlawn Junior High and High School football teams will be introduced during the event.
Afterwards, Woodlawn Football Coach Doug Means said the Bears will hold a short scrimmage.
Admission is a bottle of Gatorade, detergent or monetary donation. The concession stand will have a limited menu available.
