RISON - Rison battled back from an early deficit and Tee Miller hit her free throws down the stretch as the Lady Wildcats pull off a 47-45 victory over the DeWitt Lady Dragons in non-conference action last Friday night at the Rison Gym.DeWitt was up 11-7 after the first quarter before Rison pulled to within a bucket, 23-21, at the half.The Lady ‘Cats took the lead in the third after draining three 3-pointers, two from Miller and another from E’ryia Marks. Rison led 33-31 going into the fourth quarter. Miller hit 5-of-6 free throw attempts in the final frame as the Lady Wildcats held on for the win.
