Woodlawn Jr. Cross Country Teams Run at NW Arkansas

WOODLAWN - The Woodlawn Junior High girls and boys cross country teams competed in the Class 1A-2A Regional Cross Country Championships held oct. 2 at Northwest Arkansas Community College at Bentonville. Junior Girls Preslee Mack, a 7th grader, finished 16th out of 38 runners with a time of 17:12. Erin Vinson, an 8th grader, was 17th out with a time 17:24. Other top competitors include Maeley Simmons (7th grade), Kelsi Mack (9th grade), and Amanda Ellington (7th grade). The Junior Lady Bears finished third in the overall team standings. Junior Boys Daniel Norton, a 9th grader, finished 7th overall out of 61 runners with a time of 12:52. Other top competitors include Mark Adams (8th grade), Landon Pratt (8th grade), Isaac Lowe (9th), and Brayden Jones (7th grade). The Junior Bears finished 6th in the overall team standings. ...
