Rita Louise Burks Holder of Kingsland passed away at her home in Kingsland, AR, on Saturday October 26, 2024, after a lengthy illness.She was born January 15, 1934, to Joe Elbert and Elsie Lee GriceBurks, who preceded her in death.   Her husband, Douglas Holder of Houston, Texas, died in 1992.

Ronnie D. Noble, 77, of New Edinburg, died Saturday, October 19, 2024. He was born November 2, 1946 in New Edinburg to the late Braxton Noble and Ruth Waldrop Noble. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Estes Noble and two brothers, George Noble and Marion Noble.

Douglas MacArthur Patrick, 81, of Star City, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at home. He was born April 20, 1943 in Cleveland County to the late James "Jim" and Susie Powers Patrick. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church near Star City.

Martha (Bobbie) Lue Briant, 94, of New Edinburg, Ark., passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home. Born February 26, 1930, in Cleveland County, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Albert G. Barnett and Virgie A. Williams Barnett.
