Morrison Among AgHeritage Scholarship Recipients

RISON - AgHeritage Farm Credit Services is proud to invest annually in the education of the next generation through its scholarship program. In April, 11 scholarships were presented – nine $1,000 Customer Scholarships, one $2,000 University Scholarship and one $1,000 Ken Shea Memorial Scholarship. Among those recipients is Caroline Morrison from Rison High School.Recipients are chosen for outstanding academic performance and school-related extracurricular activities.The nine students receiving $1,000 AgHeritage Farm Credit Services Customer Scholarships are: Katie Clark, Newport High School; Chance Harber, Salem High School; Carter Hearn, De-Witt High School; Tyler Jacks, Hamburg High School; Caroline Morrison, Rison High School; Luke Petrus, Carlisle High School; Morgan Schaefer, Mc-Crory High School; Rhealyn Schmidt, Walnut Ridge High School and Mark Williams, Searcy High School.The Customer Scholarship Program, which was established in 2001, is open to dependent children and grandchildren of AgHeritage Farm Credit Services stockholder customers.Mickey Tucker of Star City High School is the recipient of this year's $1,000 Ken Shea Memorial Scholarship. The Ken Shea Memorial Scholarship is open to dependent children and grandchildren of AgHeritage Farm Credit Services Southern Region stockholder customers.Taya Henry of Oroville, California is being awarded the $2,000 University Scholarship. She holds an Associates Degree in Agriculture Education from Shasta College in California and is working towards Bachelors and Masters Degrees at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. The University Scholarship Program is open to any current college student studying agriculture at an Arkansas university or college.
