MORRILTON - This Hemi-powered Plymouth drag car built by the late Joe Ralph Thompson of the Pansy community is currently on display at the Museum of Automobiles on Petit Jean Mountain near Morrilton.

USDA Commodities To Be Distributed April 11 at Kingsland

KINGSLAND - The Open Door Community Pantry located at 650 Hwy. 97 in Kingsland will be handing out USDA commodities from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11.Open Door Pantry usually distributes commodities on the second Saturday of each month.

Woodlawn Fire Department Receives Grant

RISON - A BBQ Fundraiser for Wayne Wells, in support of his kidney transplant journey, will be held this Sunday, March 22 beginning at noon at the Corner Express parking lot in Rison.BBQ plates are $15 and include a chicken half, baked beans, potato salad and a roll.
