SHARING MEMORIES INSIDE THE BEARD HOUSE - Bob Abbott of Pine Bluff (left) and his sister, Charlotte Quayles (right), share a laugh while visiting inside the Beard House at the Pioneer Village over the weekend. The house is named for their grandfather, John Samuel Beard, who built the classic dogtrot-style home in the 1870's in Ouachita County. Abbott donated the house to the Pioneer Village and it was moved to its current location last year. Over the weekend, Abbott and his family brought some additional items to put inside the house to reflect the time period from which it was built. ...
