RISON - The Easter Bunny will be hopping around Cleveland County this Saturday, April 1 to get a jump start on Easter a whole week early.
Local organizations under the Kickstart Cleveland County have planned activities for both Rison and New Edinburg.
Rison Shine and the Pioneer Village are joining forces again for the Cleveland County Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast.
The event will kick off at 9 a.m. at the Village (200 Yaney Street) with breakfast with the Easter Bunny. There is a $5 charge per person for breakfast, which includes pancakes, sausage and juice.
The free egg hunt will begin shortly after breakfast concludes.
Across the county, Re-New-ing Edinburg will hold an Easter Egg hunt for children 12 and under beginning at 10 a.m. at the New Edinburg Community Center.
Following the egg hunt, there will be snow cones plus a cake walk, bean bag toss, egg relay races and various other games. The event is free.
