The Woodlawn Bears will face the Barton Bears at 2:30 p.m. today (Friday, March 6) in the Class 2A State Basketball Tournament quarterfinals at the Poyen High School Athletic Complex.
Woodlawn upset two-time defending state champion East Poinsett County, 78-73, in a first-round stunner Tuesday night. Barton (31-5) is the no. 2 seed out of Region 3 while Woodlawn is the no. 4 seed out of Region 4.
Should Woodlawn win, it will face the England Lions in the Class 2A semifinals at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday, March 7) at Poyen. The game will be streamed live over the Central Sports Network channel on YouTube.
