High School Seniors Can Apply For Up to 5 Colleges Through New Portal

Arkansas has launched the Arkansas ACCESS Portal, a free, universal college application system for the Class of 2027. Developed under the 2025 Arkansas ACCESS law, the portal lets high school seniors use one login and application to apply to up to five participating Arkansas colleges without application fees. It provides provisional-admission guidance through Next Action Steps letters and automatically imports transcripts, GPA, coursework, and test data through the state’s electronic transcript system. All public two- and four-year Arkansas colleges participate, along with half of private institutions. Built in-house within a year, the portal will be promoted by counselors and career coaches through senior advisories, FAFSA nights, and school application events.
