CCSB Interviews Construction Managers for Gym Project

The Cleveland County School Board held a special meeting Thursday night to interview companies to serve as the construction manager for the new gymnasium project. All seven board members were in attendance along with Superintendent Davy King and architect Steve Elliott.

Those interviewing for the job included Kinco Constructors of Little Rock, Brody Richardson Construction of Sheridan, Clark Construction of Little Rock, and Baldwin & Shell Construction of Little Rock. 

Nearly all gave a projected completion date of August 2027 for the project. Elliott said the plans for the 1,500-seat gym have been turned in to the state for final approval, which he expects will be by early April.
