Cleveland County Quorum Court Approves Raises, Budget

The Cleveland County Quorum Court approved the 2026 budget Monday, including a 4.5% pay raise for county employees and a 6% raise for countywide elected officials, along with a one-time 4% Christmas payment for full-time staff. The 2026 general fund projects $2.8 million in revenue and $2.49 million in expenses, while the road fund projects $2.67 million in revenue and $2.3 million in expenses. Treasurer Angie Kimsey reported stronger fund balances and significant interest earnings from the county’s investment accounts. The court also noted completion of the new election equipment storage building and approved tax levies, grants, and other routine business.
