The Cleveland County Republican Committee will host a political forum this coming Thursday, March 19, featuring the runoff candidates for Cleveland County Judge, Jim Houston of Rye and Stephen McClellan of New Edinburg. The forum will begin at 6 p.m. at the Family Life Center of Bethel #1 Missionary Baptist Church in 2230 Hwy. 35 North at Rison. Bro. Mike Goodwin will serve as moderator. The event is open to the public, and the Cleveland County Herald plans to stream it live on Facebook. Committee chairman Pat Berry said the public is invited to submit questions related to issues the county judge can address. Questions must be emailed to pat@w5ees.com by Sunday, March 15, and will be randomly drawn for candidates to answer during the forum.
