The David and Dana Moseley Farm near New Edinburg was inducted into the Arkansas Century Farm Program on Dec. 2 at the State Capitol, honoring 169 years of continuous family ownership since its founding in 1856. Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Agriculture Secretary Wes Ward presented the family with an official sign and certificate recognizing their contribution to Arkansas’s agricultural heritage. The Century Farm Program, created in 2012, celebrates families who have owned and operated the same land for at least 100 years. The Moseley farm was among 42 new inductees this year, bringing the statewide total to 687 farms.
