With the holiday season approaching, phishing emails pretending to be from Rally Networks and other businesses will be on the rise. Rally Networks, which provides phone and internet services in Cleveland County, reported several this week. Your security matters to us, so here are a few quick tips to help you spot scam messages.
Signs an email may be a scam:
• Unexpected requests for personal or account information
• Odd wording, suspicious links or skewed logos
• Pressure to act urgently or something bad will happen (“your account will be closed today,” etc.)
When in Doubt….Reach Out! If something seems off, don’t click. If you have any questions whether an email from us is authentic, please contact us at 844-RALLYNET or csr@rallynet.us.
