Bears Beat Junction City, Win Streak at Six

The Woodlawn Bears pulled off the upset Tuesday night with a 61-44 victory over the Junction City Dragons in an 8-2A conference showdown inside the Woodlawn gym. Junction City went into the game ranked no. 9 in the state by Arkansas Sports Network. It was Woodlawn’s sixth consecutive victory, which each of those coming by 17 points or more as the Bears improved to 13-4 overall and 4-0 in conference play. Junction City dropped to 8-2 overall and 4-1 in league action. Woodlawn travels to Ouachita tonight for an 8-2A road test against the Warriors.
