Woodlawn Bears Run Win Streak to Seven With Win at Ouachita

Jude Roberts scored 43 as the Woodlawn Bears used a fast start to get past the Ouachita Warriors, 71-58, Friday night at Ouachita. It was the Bears’ seventh consecutive win, all coming by double digits. Woodlawn improved to 14-4 and 5-0 in 8-3A conference play with the win, setting up a massive 8-2A conference showdown with Hampton Bulldogs Tuesday night at Hampton. The Dogs are 14-3 overall and 5-0 in conference. Woodlawn’s wins over Junction City and Ouachita prompted the Arkansas Sports Network to put the Bears at no. 8 in the Class 2A rankings this week, one spot behind no. 7 ranked Hampton.
