Shayne and Ashley Besaw of Rison announced today (Monday, Feb. 2) that they have bought the former Gurnsey Hardware/R&L Hardware building in the 200 block of Main Street in downtown Rison. The Besaws, who moved to Cleveland County about four years ago from California, said the restaurant will offer a breakfast menu as well as smoked meats and specialty coffees while the boutique will feature their own hand-crafted soaps, lotions, candles and wax melts. They also intend to offer other locally-made products. The Besaws said they hope to have the new business ready to open in April.
