Herald Receives Nomination at Arkansas Country Music Awards

RISON - The Cleveland County Herald received a nomination Tuesday for Publication/Podcast/Blog of the Year from the Arkansas Country Music Awards for its promotion of country music and the Rison in the Fall Festival.

Voting for all categories is scheduled to open online March 1 in advance of the awards ceremony scheduled for June in Conway. Other nominees in the category include: AY Magazine, The Pam Setser Show, Stuttgart Daily Leader and The TeleTime Show.

Douglas Boultinghouse, circulation/advertising manager for the Herald and co-host of the Free Range Conversations plans to attend the ceremony. He also serves as the director of the Rison in the Fall Festival.
