Danny Looney went home to be with his Lord and Savior, March 9, 2026 at his home.
Danny was born July 20, 1944 in Cassville, Missouri to Ivan and Claire Looney.
He was married to Dorothy Utter Lonney on May 19, 1969, who preceded in death on December 23, 2001.
Danny was raised and attended school in Washburn, Missouri, where he graduated in 1963. After graduation, he was employed by Justin Boots for thirty years. He owned and operated Papa Joe’s Diner with his wife for five years and traveled with his own band for many years. After retirement, Danny pursued higher education at Crower College in Neosho, Missouri. Mr. Looney was a member and associate pastor at Body of Christ Church in Wheaton, Missouri.
Mr. Looney is survived by one son, Robert Les (Linda) Foster; daughter, Tracy (Rod) Tucker; two sisters, Dianna Martin and Carla Intessimone both of Kingsland; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Diana Eddy and Christine Utter; very special caregivers, Tony and Sherry Intessimone, Tim Intessimone, Ray Walker, Charles Royce and Johnny Johnson; a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Body of Christ Church in Wheaton, Missouri.
