RISON - The Cleveland County Extension Service will launch Extension Get Strength Training Program Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Rison Church of Christ.
The program will be held Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. at 6480 US-79 in Rison. There is an annual $20 fee to become a member.
The Extension Get Fit program, led by Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent Austin Compton, focuses on community-based strength training targeted towards adult Arkansans.
It is designed to increase strength, improve balance and flexibility, while remaining safe, structured and affordable.
The classes are appropriate for all fitness levels taught in a supportive group environment.
