Rison Trio Breaks 100-Yard Mark in Win Over Dumas

Three Rison Wildcats broke the century mark in rushing as the ‘Cats took down the Dumas Bobcats, 65-42, Friday night to move to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in 8-3A conference play. Senior running back Kyson Walker finished with 209 yards on the ground with seven touchdowns. He also returned an interception 70 yards for a TD. Dumas struggled to contain sophomore quarterback Logan McGarity who rushed for 131 yards with a touchdown while senior running back Aidan Bitely racked up 112 yards rushing. Riosn had 492 yards rushing for the game Dumas stayed within striking distance for much of the game thanks to its big play offense. The Bobcats’ All-State running back finished with 252 yards rushing with four touchdowns while quarterback Kyle Young threw for 222 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions. Rison will travel to McGehee this Friday night.
