The Cleveland County Sheriff's Department joined law enforcement agencies from Jefferson County as well as the Arkansas State Police Tuesday afternoon to search for a suspect(s) who was believed to be in an area along Hwy. 133 around the Morris Road and Gun Club Road West intersections.
Cleveland County Sheriff Jack Rodgers said the search was initiated by a report from the White Hall Police Department of the suspect(s) having fled a gas station without paying. He said the suspects drove into northern Cleveland County before fleeing on foot.
While tracking dogs were called in, Rodgers said the suspects had not been located as of Wednesday morning.
