10  YEARS  AGOMARCH  30,  2016The Rison City Council will decide Tuesday if it would like to move forward on a possible $350,000 loan that would provide the city with enough money to replace the city's aging mechanical water meters with new digital meters. The city was approved for the loan without any stipulations of the city having to increase water rates to help pay for it. The city is aware of approximately 60 water meters of the nearly 650 meters in the system not functioning.
