10  YEARS  AGOMAY  13,  2015At Monday night's meeting of the Cleveland County School Board, Stan Sadler asked his fellow board members to consider some possible long-range construction projects for the district, including a new gym and technology center, and enlarging the cafeteria.The Woodlawn School Board approved a motion Monday night to refinance some of the district's debt that could result in more than $100,000 in savings. The board also approved a bid of $61,000 to convert the old music room into three classrooms.Community cleanups are scheduled this Saturday at three locations - Rison, Kingsland and New Edinburg - as part of a county-wide cleanup effort.The Junction City Dragons nipped the Woodlawn Bears, 1-0, in the championship game of the Class 2A South Regional Baseball Tournament at Woodlawn on Monday.
