RISON - The Cleveland County School Board recently recognized Kevin and Amber Hornaday of Freedom Assembly church in Rison as their Volunteers of the Year for the 2025-26 school year. Superintendent Davy King said the Hornadays have played a vital role in helping raise money to buy school supplies for every student in the school district. In addition, they have also donated water to the athletic teams, and have arranged student activities. King pointed out that Kevin Hornaday even helped the cafeteria staff recently.
